A collaborative venture exploring notions of process based art.

Our role as artists is to create an environment(s), in which, a group of people come together to produce work based on an investigation of collaborative art and how it relates to issues of authorship. Primarily, events/ happenings will involve groups of people coming together with disparate collections of materials; each person is encouraged to act upon the materials in their own way. Over the course of the event / happening, interaction, in any form, will be encouraged and the form the work takes will, ultimately, be guided by the group dynamic, through the dialogue between the individual actions of each participant. The separate actions are, in themselves, insignificant. In essence, the group becomes a human production line. The work is created through the interaction between the separate elements. No one part can exist without the others and the work is, therefore, outside the control of any individual authorship.
