…Acceleration

To be thrust upon an unsuspecting public from 12/8 - 6/12 2008

This is a slim outline of tactileBOSCH's proposed project ACCELERATION. a series of multi-faceted exhibitions for the second half of 2008. To be staged from September through till Dec 2008.

Structural Amalgam to Open Friday 12/8/08

The first opening [that of the drawing/Installation aspect of ‘ACCELERATION’] will open in early September. Combining established artists with young up & coming practitioners. This will include the [approx] 6 artists in residence. Tentative dates will be from Sept 12^th – 11^th Oct. Combining Architectural storyboarding & drawing with structural activism. This will also provide an arena for collaborations between various tactileBOSCH artists and outside practitioners.

tactileBOSCH will then house a time-based performance festival ‘LAPSED’ aiding and abetting the staging of Chapter Theatre’s Experimentica 08’s off-site performance agenda. Thus expanding the single night event ‘LAPSE’ staged so brilliantly in Oct 2007. To encompass further performances from [approx] Wed 15^th Oct – Sunday 19^th.

The ACCELERATION project would culminate with a through the lens media exhibition entitled Apparition opening in early November [praps avoiding Halloween] Sat 8^th [8/11/2008] for approx 4 weeks till Sat 6^th Dec. 

THRUST: The Catalogue...

As we start accelerating forward to future exhibitions tactileBOSCH intends to produce a catalogue ahead of the project start date in Sept – An increased mapping out of up-coming events - with the sole intention of marketing its past and future events to a wider audience both nationally and internationally. This cohesive delve into the tB art extravaganza will demonstrate the far-reaching, experimental, progressive and edgy conceptual philosophy that tB has nurtured since its origination six years ago. NB: This will require additional commitment from writers in the arts who seem few and far between!
